HIDE uses your location only while you are in an active game. Your live position is private and is never shown continuously.

At a location ping, the server creates one frozen snapshot for the active seeker. It disappears after the configured reveal window. Other hiders and spectators cannot access it.

Leaving a game stops GPS transmission and closes its realtime connection. Location data is not used to track anyone outside a shared active game.
